Chemical Peel

The medical chemical peel consists of the application of a solution that produces an exfoliation and renovation of the most superficial layers of the skin. In this way, the superficial dermis and epidermis are regenerated by removing their damaged layers as well as their imperfections and defects.

This treatment helps to obtain a much brighter and smoother face, reduces spots and pigmentation alterations, fights inflammation, attenuates and smoothes the small scars generated by acne, and diminishes dilated pores and fine and shallow wrinkles.

There are several types of peels that will act in depth depending on their component and concentration. The choice will be made by the specialist according to the tone and type of skin and according to what the patient wants to treat.

METHOD

The technique consists of applying the product with a brush or gauze on a very clean skin, allowing the substance to penetrate into the skin sweeping the surface layers. The skin begins to renew itself from its application until a few days later in which the patient will observe how the damaged skin falls and the new layers appear progressively.

DISCOMFORT

Treatment is painless and does not require anesthesia.

SIDE EFFECTS

Within the recommendations it is very important to avoid direct sun exposure in the days following the treatment, as well as provide plenty of hydration to the skin and use re-epitheliating creams (skin regenerators).
